I worked on iOS app (Objective-C, Swift), Android app (Java), cloud server backend, API:s, and web apps (Python, Django, Javascript, Amazon Web Services). I also got experience in many other tasks, including product owner role, design, prototyping, user testing, etc.

I made software (using Python, C, Java, Swing UI) that used floor sensor data for various elderly care applications in the ELSI project. This included features like detecting a fallen person, networking to send status updates of monitored space over instant messaging protocol, and even home automation to control lights based on person entering particular areas.

Finnish Meteorological Institute | Software developer | 2005

I made a web application (using Perl, LaTeX, PostScript, Apache, Linux) which allows researchers to compose a year book of magnetic field measurements. It included parts for uploading scientific measurement data from different measurement stations, and then automatically composing a print-ready book in PDF format.
