Two new space photos! Five hours of data was collected for each of them. Both of these nebula are places where new stars are formed.
Photographed Eastern Veil Nebula on a camping trip in Sierra National Forest.
I took these photos on my backyard with my new ASI 2600MM Pro monochrome astrophotography camera.
Night timelapse of Mt. Shasta, shot from the north side.
A Trip to Yosemite
More astrophoto fun from a weekend camping trip nearby! I processed these quickly with Astro Pixel Processor, which seems like a great program!
These intermediate processing step versions, after stacking but before doing any corrections, are kind of cool :)
More astrophotographs! This time I was using a guide scope, which means I can take longer exposures.
I went camping with my telescope outside the town. These are all shot with an 80mm refractor telescope and Canon 80D camera.
Crab nebula is an exploded star. It is fairly faint (magnitude 8.4) and small.
